Zooming part of foto
Oct 11, 2020
Hello,
I want to realize the following. I have a picture which fills part of the screen.
At a certain moment of the timeline I want part of the picture to be taken out of the original and zoomed out. At another point in time, part of the image will go back and another part will be zoomed out.
Is this possible?
In attachment an e.g. file that (hopefully ) illustrates what I mean

Hi Patrick, have you experimented with Zoom Regions to see if they will provide what you are looking for? https://community.articulate.com/articles/articulate-storyline-360-user-guide-how-to-add-zoom-regions
Attached is a very rough example of Zoom regions. As you'll see, you'll want to have a high res image so the zoomed in version looks crisp.
Thx ,
The problem with this function is that you zoom out to full screen. I want to highlight a part of the picture. In other words attract attention without filling the full screen.
Hi Patrick, you would need to create this effect your self by masking the parts of the image you don't want the use to focus on. You can do this just by fading shape over the image with opacity set at around 80% and leaving the section you want the user to focus on unmasked.
