Beware the Yeti!! -- Free Holiday Illustrated Character

Dec 16, 2013

Sorry for the delay folks. I had a few issues during development.  Here he is, the Yeti, ready to give boring eLearning some frostbite.

You can download him from my site here. He is available in the Articulate character format that works for both Storyline and Studio '13 and in PNG format in case you want to use him in other programs.  He has 16 poses and 10 expressions (front side only).  I tried to be a little more creative with both the poses and the expressions.  I still get  a chuckle when I view the scared expression in any pose.

I decided keep the files on my website because I wanted to find out how many downloads this gets.  All it asks is for a email address, first name, and last name. I respect people's privacy and don't do anything with your email address. I just want to see what kind of interests these free characters receive.  If you are not comfortable with this, post it here or PM me and I'll figure out different methods for you to get this character.

Hey Owen,

I thought I put a read me file in there, but I must have forgot.

Here are the directions.

1. Make sure Storyline Application is closed.

2.  Copy the .acp file to   C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Articulate\Characters\Illustrated

  Or

  C:\Program Files\Common Files\Articulate\Characters\Illustrated

3. Open Storyline application.

Also. I've encountered a few issues when I add to many custom characters. For some reason they don't appear in the character screen.  I found out that adding a underscore to the front of the name (_Yeti.acp)  fixes it and places him on top.
