Browser requirements checker for Articulate Presenter

Hi all - This post http://community.articulate.com/forums/p/15685/90621.aspx#90621 inspired me to write an Articulate Presenter browser and system compatibility checker that works with BrowserHawk IQ.

If the user does not meet the necessary browser requirements for Articulate Presenter, a "report card" showing the incompatibilities is presented to the user, along with self-guided help, links to update their outdated software, and tips for enabling any disabled settings.

This information can also be collected and emailed back to your help desk by the user from the BrowserHawk IQ help window presented.  The diagnostic information can also be made available to your support staff using the BrowserHawk IQ Portal where you can access Reports and Analytics.

Here are the conditions that BrowserHawk IQ looks for to test compatibility with Articulate Presenter:

  Browsers supported: IE 6+, FF 1+, Safari 3+, Chrome 1+, or Opera 9.5+

  Supported OS: Windows, OS X, Linux

  IE in compatibility mode or not (informational only)

  Flash 7+

  Cookies enabled (recommended)

  Connection speed of 1Mbps+ (recommended)

  JavaScript enabled (recommended)

  Screen size of at least 1024x768 (recommended)

  Proxy in use or not (informational only)
