3D Animation in Articulate Storyline 1
Dec 16, 2014
I would like insert a 3D object with rotation in an Articulate Storyline 1 File. Unfortunately, I have any experience about it.
I have made some research about it.

This article is very nice but I don’t want reproduce a 3D-Effect.
Add 3D-Animation:
· I imagine to use a 3D file and convert it as Web Object or Java. (Have you any experience about it ? Is it possible ? Any example?)
· I will add this file as Web Object and in Articulate.
Add rotation:
· I will create a slider to rotate the device.

Hi,
For my first test:
I have added a Web Object from the 3D warehouse. It is working...I see the 3D object and I can rotate it. See files.
But I would like this 3D object on my Computer and convert it for Storyline.
Emilie, thanks for referencing my blog post. I downloaded your test file ad I can run the 3D model locally, on my harddrive.
If you want to somehow convert this model into Storyline, then you need to find a way to export the model as a series of bitmaps, and then use theses bitmaps in custom states as I had described in my post.
Here I a great discussion thread about creating sliders in Storyline 1: https://community.articulate.com/discussions/building-better-courses/update-simplified-slider-mechanic
