A useful little gif

Hi all,
I was reading an article a few days ago on how mobile phone usage can be addictive. This gave me an idea.
On previous elearning modules when text/graphics build by paragraph or a sequence, many users would click the next button and miss some information (yes this can be overruled by triggers or variables) However from reading the article many phone users would wait for the repsonse, i.e Messenger, Whats App etc after seeing the little gif shown below, it was like the user is being rewarded with more information. So I used this in an elearn and it really helped and users now complete the slide more than often and didn't skip.
Food for thought please find the attached gif below, hope it helps someone

Interesting idea, Glen! Thanks for sharing. :)
That's a great thought! I'll watch for a project where I can give it a whirl. And aren't humans amazing? We'll rush through just about anything, but that little animation makes us freeze in our tracks.
How did you use it? did you place it in front of something that was building then hide it when that section was revealed?
Great idea! I know those little moving captions keep me wanting more.
I just placed it into a slide and set the fade in and fade out timing to suit the text, and the copy and repeat. I placed the Gif where the next text sentence begins, thats was the way I did it no doubt there maybe better ways.
Hi Glen, would you may be able to show us? Would be really cool to see it in action in a project.
There you go something quick I put together hope it helps
So cool, thanks :)
I can see this being used in scenarios, simulating live conversations. What a great idea! Thank you for sharing!
that's a great idea
Thanks for sharing! That's a great gif.
That's a great gif and way to use it! It's a little less control-freakish than hiding the next button until the end of timeline. can't wait to use it!
Thanks!
Your most welcome
