Does any of you have suggestions for the best way to include hyperlinks in an online course? We are concerned that if we put too many hyperlinks into a course that it will be a lot of maintenance if any of the links break.
Does anyone have any creative suggestions? Do you put all your links at the end so that you are only maintaining one page? A redirect page for the links?
One thing I have done in the past, is put all the links in the Attachments tab, and then reference that they are there when I get to the slide that needs the link.
If you put them all in an engage file, you can update it by editing the xml file rather than republish the entire course, you could use a FAQ interaction for this easily similar to what kineo did with the McDonalds interaction, links for section 1, 2, 3 and like Eric's suggestion this could be added as a tab.
It keeps them all in one place, and is easier to edit and no need to republish
