Hello everyone. I am working on a course where I have a character asking a question then the learner will click on the character to get the answer. I want the learner to then click on the next button to advance to the next slide. How can I do with without having to have the learner return to the base layer?
I have gotten it to work when I have three things that the person must click on but I can't figure it out with just one.
Assuming you have a custom button on the Base Layer, just go to the layer, go to the Timeline and you will see the "Base Layer Items" arrow.
Hide everything but your button - you do not need to replicate what is on the Base Layer, you can pick and chose what you see - it's not an "all or nothing" approach.

Jenny,
The easiest way would be to 'replicate' the next button on the silde layer you are on.
Just create a button on that layer that pops up after the learner clicks on the character and gets the answer.
