I'm trying to find a creative way to walk through a flow chart type of diagram instead of just copying in the diagram I currently have. I basically have a 3-step process and step 2 and 3 have different paths depending on the answer to a question. I use Articulate Studio and any fresh ideas for making this better would be much appreciated. Adding a quick hypothetical example of what I'm currently working with.
I would break it up over three slides - one for each step. I've been big into images and imagery lately, so I would use images or icons that represented the step. For step's 2 & 3, I'd allow the user to click YES/NO to see their next action. I'd add buttons at the bottom that let them move through the steps.

And here are a few free PowerPoint downloads that perhaps you can use to get started. You could definitely use a tabs interaction to break each step in the process into separate chunks:
