I have a button that the user is to click after they enter some text into a Text Entry box. Unfortunately, when they type more than a few letters - it varies how many - the button disappears. I have both the button and the text entry set to Show Always. I am pulling my hair out here. Anyone have a solution?

Try removing the Exit Animation from the button.

I saw that you already had got the answer that I gave. It was however interesting to search the reason.
