What do CEMs do?
Customer Engagement Managers are a cross-functional role on the Marketing Team. We partner with Sales and Customer Success to help educate, inspire, and nurture lasting relationships with current and prospective customers.
Customer Engagement Managers are self-starters who excel at using their in-depth e-learning and Articulate 360 product knowledge to create helpful, compelling content in the form of articles, customer product demonstrations, thought leadership talks, and event marketing presentations.
In our community, E-Learning Heroes, Customer Engagement Managers also act as mentors and role models, celebrating the awesome work and creativity of the community, sharing feedback and encouragement, and answering instructional design and product questions.
What skills do CEMs need?

- Hands-on experience in instructional design for e-learning in a workplace environment.
- Strong public speaking skills with a warm, confident, and engaging presentation style.
- Strong writing skills and the ability to structure content in a logical, easy-to-understand way.
