Articulate do offer Training webinars when you buy a 360 license, they are pretty helpful for getting started. (note: the license for 360 needs to be purchased every year). Also there is a Vimeo or maybe YouTube channel that offers step by step, how to build specific interactions.

Congratulations on the new job Sarah! If you are coming from Presenter I would run with the tutorials and webinars.
Try converting a few courses, training is often better when you know what you don't know!
You will find bits familiar, unfamiliar, easier and harder. Just keep telling yourself Storyline is not Powerpoint and s]you will be OK.
