Does any one knows can you show better quality videos in a slide. I did e learning before wear video has open in new window quality was great. I would like to have good quality of video as well.
Thanks for posting your question here in the community! One of the things you can do to improve the quality of the videos in your published content is to go to the Publish window and select "Quality"
There you'll find the ability to adjust your video quality to a higher quality setting.
I have the same promblem and the quality is even with "Video quality" set to 9 not good. In my case it's an 14MB HD Video und the quality in the preview is ok, just with the publishing it become that bad.
This is not acceptable, ther must be a way to get HD quality out.
I'm having the same issue. We are trying to show complex software using screencasts from Articulate Replay. The original videos look great, but once published in Storyline, you can no longer read the GUI elements. It is not acceptable for software training. :(
Hey we have solved the problem!!! In the Setting for the page you have to set the size of the page in respective to you videos. When the video has 1440p but in the settings for the page you just have 720p your video will be crap after the export. In the preview storyline don't show the quality you will get after the export. I had my problems with hd video contented and after a week of resignation, one of my students fond out how to solve this. :)
I am also having the same issue. The HD recordings are edited in Replay and when published, are clear and crisp. However, when I import them into Storyline and publish with the highest video quality, they are unusable. Please advise.

Thomas, I resolved my issue by changing my slide size to match the video size. (1920:1080)
Thank you Alison! That makes a huge difference. The videos are clear and usable now. :)
Hi Alison, How did you change the slide size? I don't want to change the entire story slides, just the one with the video on it.
