Articulate glossary
Mar 26, 2019
I used the Articulate 360 Engage glossary template to copy and paste in 1309 terms for my company to use as an online glossary so lots of users! However after a few days - it stopped working. I opened up a case and after 6 weeks they still have no resolution and say this was reported by another customer 8 months ago and still no resolution. There's some sort of limit on the entries or characters and they cannot explain it. My question is - does anyone know of any other options that I can use in Articulate 360 to produce something of equal functionality as that glossary and if so - how can I take those 1309 terms and definitions and NOT have to copy and paste or re-key them into a new interaction? thanks so much!

Suggestion - do a test with a 100 term glossary and determine if it works. If so, you might assume that it is a volume/retrieval issue. If this is a valid assumption, then you might try creating a few smaller glossaries, e.g., terms that are A-G, H -.... Good luck.
thanks David. I actually did that and split the glossary in two however my company will not approve me posting it in 2 parts. It must be one file so I am searching for alternative ways to create it.
Not ideal but if there is an issue with the number of terms allowed in the Glossary, could you create a PDF containing the glossary terms and link to it from the resources in Storyline?
hmm have no idea on how I would even do that. The module is created in Engage.
Sorry, I completely overlooked that you mentioned Engage, oops.
Is your glossary a standalone piece? How is it deployed (LMS, web?)
it's a standalone piece. I published it on the company's intranet site.
