There is a discussion in my Institution to use 'Magic Planet® digital video globe' by 'Global Imagination'.(http://www.globalimagination.com/)
I wonder if anyone has used Storyline or Articulate with the 'Magic Planet'. In there site they claim that 'the Magic Planet can be used as an adjunct to Microsoft PowerPoint' but I wonder if anyone from Articulate / Storyline community has really done it.
Not sure how you would use this with storyline, the magic planet is a projection system and needs content to be produced in a specific way to work correctly. Global imagination provide software to facilitate this, I think projecting storyline into a Magic Planet would be horribly distorted (just have a look at the videos on the site, they are distorted running on a normal monitor.
I can't think of any courses that I've created that would be improved through a spherical representation. This seems limited to a specific kind of course or audience. This would really be gimmicky for anything outside of that learning sphere (pun intended).

Many many thanks for the clarifications and your time.
