"Ask for Help" Button?
Apr 10, 2019
Good afternoon,
I am very new to Articulate, Storyline, Rise, etc... and we are focused on creating a training course for our new hires. I was thinking that it would be nice to intersperse an "Ask for Help" or "Ask the trainer" button throughout the course content so that if the trainee has questions they can submit the question. I've been googling but apparently am not using the right terms as I've been unable to find what I am looking for (it usually leads to answers about asking Articulate for assistance). The only thing I've been able to come up with is to create it as a quiz question; but wondered if anyone had any advice.
Thank you!

Hi Leslie!
I sounds like you're looking for a way for your learners to send an email or message to a trainer from within the course? If that's the case, I'd suggest checking out the below article...

Let us know if you were trying to do something different. I hope that helps!

Tim, thank you. That could definitely work. I had sort of hoped to find something that could capture the question and email without needing Outlook's interaction; but this could be a viable option as well. Thank you!
Could be worth investigating the web objects function to integrate external solution like "chat solution"?
Have you considered a Google form embedded using a web object?
Google forms don't automatically send notifications to the administrator but this can be added with an add on.
Alternatively IT's suggestion to embed a chatbot or something similar may also be a solution.
