Assistance with a Trigger

Good morning community. I need your help again! It's probably a simple issue but I can't seem to work it out. The slide I have an issue with works fine in preview mode but when I publish it to the LMS it doesn't. In the attached file, the issue is with Slide 1.5 titled Where You Live.  There are 2 markers that must be selected before clicking the Next button which should return you to slide 1.4 Factors of Annual Dose. I have the trigger set up to jump to slide 1.4 when the user clicks the next button and both markers state are equal to selected. As I said, it works in preview mode but not in the LMS. If someone can look at the file and provide me with some guidance it would be most appreciated!

Thanks for posting your question here in the community, and sorry to hear you've run into this issue when publishing your course to your LMS.

You probably want to check out this article: How to Troubleshoot Your LMS With SCORM Cloud.

This article provides you with the steps for how you can upload your course to SCORM Cloud, which is free, where you can test your course and see if the marker issue occurs there. If the problem does NOT occur in SCORM Cloud, the issue would lie within your LMS. If the issue DOES occur in SCORM Cloud, it's likely the issue is on the authoring side of things and in that case I would suggest you submit a support case so our tech support folks can take a closer look at what's happening there!

I would suggest changing the markers states to visited rather than selected, as clicking twice would mean that it was not selected whereas this would not happen with visited. I think it would also be nice to give a visual change in the visited state so the user can see that it has changed. I would also probably disable the next button until each of them are visited so the user can see why they cannot progress.

Nicole, thank you for the information about Scorm Cloud! And thank you Zsolt & Phil! I changed the triggers to Visited instead of Selected (and included a visual change) and it worked perfectly. I had a tight deadline for this (going live with a new LMS on Monday) and your timely responses were appreciated! Have a great weekend.
