ATD versus Ledet

Mar 21, 2017

Hi all!

I was wondering if anyone has had experience training with Ledet or ATD?

We are looking to send some instructional designers to Captivate training (we primarily use and LOVE Storyline and just plan to add to the arsenal) but wanted to know if there are any thoughts here on which might be best.

Thanks!

I've taken a couple of certificate courses through ATD (not the Captivate training though) and I would highly recommend them. They are brilliantly facilitated, and especially for the in-person courses, you really learn a lot from your fellow classmates.

I don't have any experience with Ledet, but I did take some Captivate training through Lynda.com and I wasn't super impressed by that. It couldn't compare to the Storyline training by David Rivers that I had taken a year prior.

I use Captivate quite a bit. I've recommend the Lynda.com course by Pooja Jaisingh. Another great resource is Anita Horsley of Calex Learning Consultants. She offers some great one on one or small group options for training (http://calex-llc.com/services/).
