I am converting lessons to be accessibility via screen-readers however I want to remove the unnecessary items from the view but the delete button isn't enabled.
If the item is on the Slide Master you can't delete it from the slide as far as I am aware, is that the case?? or are all of the items undeletable?
This also happens with Feedback master items as well. I just tend to move them to the bottom of the list - unless someone else can give you a better answer??
What if the item you want to remove from the tab order is not visible on the slide master? I have several instances where the tab order lists a "slide master line", but it is nowhere to be found in the slide master. Is there a way to remove or hide something like this?
Thanks for sharing that image! It's possible that the Slide Master - Line items you're seeing are actually on the master slide and not the master slide layout your slide is referencing.

Even though this is an old post I thought I'd share an answer in case anyone comes across it in the future.
You can't delete items on slide masters from tab order but you can hide them so they don't appear in tab order.
Thank you, Nadia! That was very helpful!

Hi Dianne,
Thanks for sharing that image! It's possible that the Slide Master - Line items you're seeing are actually on the master slide and not the master slide layout your slide is referencing.
Take a look and see if that's the case!
