I'm trying to create an avatar (hummingbird) that will 'fly' across some of my slides and land in certain areas on the screen - or just fly off the screen - ideally it would need to find a resting position, and have the ability to talk. Have any of you tried this - or done it? I'm having a heck of a time and I'm looking for some thoughts or ideas?
Wow, that's really fast, @Joanne. I have been using gif animation time to time. However, when I import the files to the Storyline,they move more slowly. Thanks for the story file.
@Tess, This is not exactly you want but I thought it may inspire somehow. I created a quiz in which birds fly away when the correct answer is chosen.
Thank you guys! that gives me some great stuff to work with! I appreciate you sending the files as well for me to look at - I never added cue points - but I like them!

Sounds like an interesting idea! Have you been using motion paths to achieve this?

I haven't been able to make it look smooth enough to 'fly' - that's the help I was hoping for...

I would use a hummingbird gif and apply an animation path taking out the easing "direction". I got this one from Giphy.com

Hi Ridvan, I remember your birds quiz and I like it. Actually I think it was the one inspired me using gif in SL.
