Background rendering problem

I'm using the same background for all the slides in my course, yet due to an extremely slow corporate connection, the background is white when the slide first displays and then you can see it drawing down the screen. I've tried optimizing the background (it's 100kb now) but still no luck. Is there any way of caching the image so it doesn't redraw it every slide. It's one of the built in Storyline backgrounds.
