Building results slide

Nov 22, 2016

Hello!

I would like to build a results slide at the end of my course that would calculate the amount of correct and wrong answers in the course. The issue is that some of my questions are designed as a freeform and some are not. Is there any way in which I could capture the results from both and present it in the result slide?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Regards,

Magdalena

Hi Dave,

Thank you very much for your prompt reply. Unfortunately I cannot do that since the results slide shows me that I can add only the freeform slides (see the attached picture). Altogether I have 3 freeform and 9 non-freeform questions. Would I have to add any variable? I would appreciate any advice.

Thank you!

Hi Magdalena,

That's strange, If they are all quiz slides, you should be able to add them.

Yes, you could do this with variables as well. You can add a variable to track your results, and add a trigger on the correct layer to add to your variable. Set the trigger to start when the timeline for the layer begins. If you want to track incorrect responses as well, you can also add a trigger on the incorrect layer to add a value to another variable.

When you get to your results slide, just add a text box that displays the value of your variable. For example, %myCorrectAnswers% would display the value of the variable myCorrectAnswers.
