I have a zip file of a course that I need to update, the person who created it was not on the Teams plan. Is there a way I can bring that course into my profile and edit it? Or how do I update course material when the pervious person was not on a teams account?
No, to edit a file made in Storyline you'll need the .story file. You don't need to be on Storyline 360 Teams to edit another person's work- he/she just needs to send you the .story file rather than the published output.
Other Allison here ;) If you're not on a teams account, that person would have to send you a copy of their Rise course in order for you to be able to edit it. Be careful though: any edits you make on the copy won't appear in their version of the course.
