I am attempting to create a Likert Scale Survey Question in Storyline 2 as a review to one of my courses. My scale ranks aspects of the course from "Not Beneficial" to "Will Help me Succeed." I would like to have the "Not Beneficial" selections be given a "failing" score in order that we can mark them in our system for further assistance on the topic.
In my attempt to adjust variables, it does not seem like this is possible in a Survey Question.
Can anyone confirm or assist in providing an alternative?
Survey questions are not scored. However, you can control the response of a hidden question using the variables of your Survey Question. The hidden question can pass the pass/fail data to your lms. I call these "Ghost Assessments" and you can learn more about the process here.
Thank you for the tip, Owen! In this specific instance, I may convert the questions to Matching Drop-Down to track user selections. I will certainly look into your suggested "Ghost Assessments" should I require this function in the future. Thanks once again!
