Cannot save, get error - active inserted or lnked object that cann

I am receiving the following error message when I attempt to save:
There is an active inserted or linked object that can’t be saved automatically. Please close the object first.
My system details are as follows:
· PowerPoint 2007
· Articulate 09
I would love to close the object. Nothing would make me happier at this point. PowerPoint is the only application running at this time, all else is shut down when the error occurs. I found the following link in a post from Justin Wilcox recommended as a solution (03-20-2009)

The message is quite self explanatory. It's quite probable that you have
activated an object which you inserted and then haven't saved/closed/updated
it before returning to PowerPoint and Saving your presentation, the object
remains active hence can't be saved.
Make sure all the objects you've activated are closed.

Well, thank you Shyam (Captain Obvious). Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure all of your documents and files are closed that you are using in your project. Typically you would see an i/0 32 error but it's basically saying you have something open and the project cannot be saved until you close that object. I.e. you could have a document open, editing an image, etc.
