Cannot Unhide the Next Button
Jan 17, 2018
Hello. I am new to Articulate and I have been researching how to hide the next button until all slides have been viewed. I am using the Velocity Process template and each "process" button represents a group of accounts. After going through the slides, it directs them back to the process screen to select the next until all 3 are viewed. I do not want them to be able to advance until all 3 account groups are viewed. Is it because I did not use slide layers? Any advice?

Hi Becky
if you can share your .story file someone will be able to offer a solution for you. Just use the grey 'add attachment' button at the bottom of the post.
Here is a piece of the story.
Hi Becky
see updated file. I changed the trigger to 'when timeline starts' and used the visited state of the three rectangles in the conditions of the trigger.
Thank you! I have a few of this same type of activity in my course but why is there no trigger for Rectangle 2 being visited?
I believe the second trigger was meant to be rectangle 2. Thank you so much, this works as I would like it to!

Hi Becky
The visited state is a built in state so you don't need a trigger to make something change state to visited. Sorry my bad for not mentioning that you don't need those change of state triggers - that would be why it works.
Hi Becky
I've updated the image above.
