Is anyone using Canvas (LMS) with Stroyline? How do they get along? I am looking to embed Storyline content into Canvas and am wondering what compatibility issues I may encounter. Thanks for any sharing:-)
We're just embarking on this journey and struggling with iframe on pages for non-scorm, but have embedded storyline 2 content into assignments with scorm.
I can say that my company has had trouble with Canvas & SCORM.
We've encountered the following:
videos that get stuck loading,
take a LONG time (days) to actually upload a zip file into Canvas (they are aware of this issue)
one student can get an actual grade to report to Canvas while another (same assignment) will get a 0 (when a screenshot taken of the results slide shows they received a passing score). Same browser.
videos lag terribly and then jump causing the learner to miss information
I've been less than impressed with Canvas' SCORM support.
One of my clients found really good success embedding the web output within their courses. They had a custom interface, and Storyline was used to create some virtual lectures as part of each week's requirements, so there was no need for assessment within the file/SCORM.
These virtual lectures had 3-7 videos (between 3 min to 15 minutes in duration) per file, and they ran seamlessly as an embed from web publish.

How are you getting on? Would love to hear.
Sarae so you are happy with Storyline 2 as SCORM in Canvas?
