Boy am I stuck! We have and application that runs on an Android. I want to do two things:
1. I want to create a a screen recording using Storyline or Camtasia or even Captivate. How do I run the Android on my PC so that I can use one of these tools?
2. When teaching a live class, I want to run Android on my PC so I can ALT TAB to other PC apps and then back to what we are seeing on the Android.
If your Android device is running ICS or later, you can simply capture the screens you want and then import them into any of the Articulate products. Press the Power button and the Home key at the same time and the current screen gets captured.
Thanks, Ben! The issue isn't capturing just screen shots. I need to go through the actions on the PC and edit the out come. What I am really looking for is an emulator of some sort.

A little searching via Google and here are some options for actually running Android apps on a PC.

This tool lets you run Android apps on a PC or Mac. Really cool!

Thanks, Ben. That helps!
Maria, there are some screen/video recording tools available on the Google Play Store, here is one example: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ms.screencastfree&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS5tcy5zY3JlZW5jYXN0ZnJlZSJd. The problem is that all of these tools require a rooted device and that's something you may not want to do. Another option may be to use the simulator that is part of the Android Software Development Kit. And finally, you may want to check out the Droid@Screen tool, I had blogged about it a while ago, the post and a sample recording is here: http://wp.me/p2BoUf-2e
