Does anyone have any suggestions for where to find an image set of individual college guys? I need them to have several different poses of the same person. All of the image sets that I've found have been either business or medical. I need casually-dressed (preppy), young adult men on a plain background so I can make the background transparent.
Are you looking for Free? . Are you looking for current? If you have a cheap subscription to clipart.com, you can find "sets" of young casually dressed guys by using the Browse others in the series option. You can also find some on iStockphoto.com by looking at the portfolio of the photographer if they dont have the series already listed at the bottom. Downside? You will have to do the cutouts yourself. If you are decent with Photoshop, you should be fine though.
Thanks, Robert. It doesn't have to be free, but current would be best. I'm looking for images that are either ready to be dropped into my course or that I can easily tinker with in PowerPoint to get the background out. I will check out that site for sure! Thanks!
Hi Sarah - there is one character (Raj) at www.presenterpeople.com that might do the trick. It is an illustration (not a photo) but he comes in multiple poses and has 10 different facial expressions.
Yeah, as long as the clothes they are dressed in are dark strong colors and they dont have any crazy highlights in their hair, then Powerpoint should be able to do a decent job
Thank you for the suggestion of Raj, Nancy! The illustrations are neat, but we are looking to use real photos for this course. I will keep him in mind though.
Hi Sarah, I thought you might be looking for photos. It's hard finding interesting pictures of real people in multiple poses - we struggle with that all the time. We just finished a project for a client who wanted us to use photos in the scenarios. I wanted to us illustrations because we could create more variety in the poses and expressions. We could only find one pose for each of the people they wanted to use so ended up repeating the same picsthroughout-and of course, the feedback was that it would have been better if we used multiple poses.Yup
Narratorfiles.com has 12 different models (professional, business casual, medical) in over 100 poses each. You may try that site in the future (if they have the look you're going for).

Yeah, photographic characters are difficult to find. Here is a site with a lot of great illustrated characters in different formats...
