How do I change the character's expression on the results screen of a test. I want to show a concerned face on the failure slide but the character is graded out and I cannot. Can it be done?
You should be able to put any character or graphic you wish onto the results slide, Failure or Success layers.
Is the character on the Base Layer by chance, and you are viewing the Failure - Slide Layer? This would cause the character to appear grayed out and non-selectable. If so, you can simply cut and paste the character from the base layer onto each, the success and failure layers.
As an alternate option, you can leave the character on the base layer and add a trigger to each, the success and failure layers. Action: Change state of > On Object: Character > To State: State of your choice > When: Timeline starts
Thank you for your response. I was on the base layer and it was easier to take my character off of the base layer and then insert on the success and failure layers. Thank you so much!
Another option, perhaps for other situations, would be to have multiple states to the character. You could change the expression of the character within custom states you've added. Then use a trigger to change the state of the character on whatever conditions you wish.

Happy to hear you got it working Lisa!

Thank you Allison. I tried that first but I'm still having trouble with state changes. But I did get the copy/paste thing down ;-)
