Charity project helpers?
Nov 14, 2013
Hi everyone,
Apologies if this isn't the right place to post a request like this (I'm happy to repost elsewhere if there's somewhere more appropriate), but I've been asked put this out to the elearning community on behalf of a charity organisation here in the UK.
They're trying to create an online resource pool that children participating in their programmes can sign up to to access educational materials. They have a limited budget and wanted to know if there is anyone who could contribute any time to helping produce the resources. If there is anyone who might have the time to take part in this, please let me know and I'll give further details. Hoping this can be seen as an opportunity to continue developing skills and portfolios!
They also need to find out more about the wonderful world of the LMS, as they'd like participants to have user accounts so progress is trackable and certifiable. Anyone willing to offer thoughts / suggestions on where best to look into this, that would also be appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
T

Hi Tamara, I am pretty busy at the moment but happy to offer any help with LMS and storyline as these are what I work with on a daily basis. I'll send you a PM.

Hey Tamara, I'm also willing to help. I'll have some free time after December.

I'd be happy to help. Like others, I have a major project at work between now and the end of December (Actually going live on January 6), but I can always find time. Being a former public school teacher, and now being employed by a hospital known for their children's hospital, I have a bit of a soft spot for non-profits that help children. =)
Hi Tamara,
What was the name of the UK charity?
Nicholas
Hi Tamara
I am more than happy to give some time, I recently worked on a project for children for HealthTeacher. I am like most people busy but happy to help out

I've also sent you a PM Tamara. I currently work for a Charity in the UK.
Thanks so much everyone; really appreciate the responses. Going to message you all now
