Checklist for taking eLearning from 1.0 to classier, more professional 2.0 version??

We took PowerPoint slides, added audio recordings to get a course into LMS for Covid at home learners. Now we want to make it 2.0, but none of us are eLearning Designers! Is there a checklist to upgrade a training? colors, style, video, audio, cartoon characters vs. photos, photos vs. icons, background and font colors, types of interactivity, etc. I'm sure there has to be resources out there. If anyone can share would be FABULOUS!
