Circular Webstyle Menu

In a recent teaching session, I saw web style popup menu that I liked the look of and showed the participants how I would build it and make it available on every slide.
After the session I had a play around and made it look better.
here is a demo http://elearninglaboratory.articulate-online.com/8281488099
Here is a the file https://www.dropbox.com/s/y2bb2dlaliilt5z/Circular%20Menu.story?dl=0You need the icons font for it to display correctly, but could just swap them out for wingdings.
The menu is on a slide master and is called by incrementing a variable.

Laura I am Glad you found a use for I felt the concept was too simple to post, so glad it helped you out.
love it :) great work
Hi Bola, it does use layers but a slide master layer so it can be used across all slides
Hi Phil!
Great work, I really like the design. By the way, I've found that if you hover the cursor on the buttons and quickly move it outside and then back again, the spin does not complete properly.
I checked the .story file but could not find where you added the rotation...
Hi Mauro I think the spin is in the states, the pause is probably breaking it
A simple clic on the "Hover" state didn't highlight the animation tab, that's why I could not see the spin animation. You can solve that issue by reducing the animation's length.
However, great use of the pause timeline trigger, never thought about it!
Thanks Phil and Parashuram.
I like the idea. It saves a lot of screen real estate instead of using the default Storyline menu for course navigation.
So strange that the source file I downloaded from here has nothing added to any of the Slide Masters.
ETA: Disregard my previous. User error. The Slide Master does contain the menu items as stated. Dur.

Nice job Phil, just came across this. I love the transparency on your shapes. pretty sweet.
Hi, I Love this on the demo, however, due to restrictions where I work I cannot view/download the file on dropbox or google, are there any other methods available?... I would love to know how its done. I can dowload other files from here if they simply have a download button.

This is a great menu and I like the style of the font used here -- but there are hundreds of icon fonts. Could you be more specific - maybe even provide a link?
thanks
I love this menu Parashuram. Could you tell me more about how you built it? -- Thanks
I used Solid Icons Font http://www.iconsolid.com
I can't see any graphics on the slide master, Phil. Mine is all blank. I can't find the Menu pop up anywhere. :-(
Hi Victoria it is on a layer on the slide master.
I really like your menu and have a question for you. How did you get rid of or hide all the borders?
I set the borders to white and transparent you should be able to save the player out.
hmm still can't find it. I go to View/Slide Master and all of the slides are blank. I can see that there is a State for the red menu button, but just can't find the pop up images that come up with the black half circle background.
:-(
I guess I am totally lame.
I'm sorry I can't find where the black circle is..
I only have a trigger on Ellipse 1 ("Ajouter 1.00 vers Menu") but can't find the black ellipse where the different links are...
Thanks !
In Phil's instructions at the beginning of the post he says it is located on the slide master.
View > SlideMaster > Master layout
Wendy has it!
On the slide master on the very top slide there is a layer which has everything on. I created and updated version last week here is a download and link
