Clinical Stock Images

Aug 03, 2017

Where does anyone find good clinical/medical images for nursing education or patient education?  For example, an illustration for showing what a bone marrow biopsy or ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography).  I need pictures that show information that is clear to patients but also clinical staff.  I really need a subscription that I have a certain number of downloads per month rather than paying for each image individually or for a certain period of time.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Julie -

My library (eLearningArt) would be good for the medical people images. Lots of people in lab coats & scrubs to be nurses or doctors. And plenty of people for patients, staff, etc.

But I don't have the clinical stuff like bone marrow, etc.

You might want to check out the eLearning Brothers Medical Library for that. It's not cheap... $800 annually for the medical images or $1,300 with the people cutouts. But that might be a better fit.

Hope that helps.

Best,

Bryan

Hi Julie,

Are you using Articulate 360? Because it comes with Content Library which gives you access to over 1.5+ million stock assets right from within Storyline. It saves you time because you dont need to leave the tool you're developing in, go to your browser, sign in, find what you need, save it, then insert it into Storyline. It's all done right from within the ribbon and there's tons of medical imagery... I recently used only images from Content Library to create a course all about Preparing for Surgery.

When I do a keyword search for "medical" in the Content Library stock photo search engine this is what I come up with...

In addition to these images there's videos and illustrations as well... and top of that we've also got icons available (which can easily be recolored to any color). This is what came up for "Medical" when I searched the icon library, and you can keep scrolling for ages...

And finally there's a wide variety of both photographic and illustrated medical characters that come in hundreds of poses.

And keep in mind that everything displayed above is included with a 360 subscription and we're constantly adding new assets, characters, templates, images and more. If you have any more questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to shout out and leave a follow-up question.
