I did create a compliance training course couple of months back.

It was in the form of Mountain Quest. The objective was to reach the top of Mount Everest.

There were several obstacles along the route like Snow Leopard, Yeti, etc

The only way to overcome these obstacles is by answer the questions that appear at each obstacle correctly. These questions could be situations which an employee would face at workplace. There's also a concept of backpack which contains all the course material which the player can access at any time.

Trust me, this has been a hit with a couple of my clients. They loved it! I am sure it will work for you as well.
