Is it possible to produce a contract in storyline? The slides allow
the user to select which element(s) he or she would like to incorporate
into the contract. The very last slide then produces the contract with
all the selected elements in either microsoft word or excel or pdf
format. Is it possible to do this in storyline?
You could collect all the selected options using variables and them dump them into a file using JavaScript. This isn't my domain at all but I can point you to this, which could be of help. There are others in this community with JS skills who will no longer be along shortly.
You won't be able to generate a Word, Excel, or PDF doc without some kind of server side technology. However, you may be able to configure selections and make an adaptive HTML content display. Trouble is, at this point it makes just as much sense to make the whole thing in HTML if you've got the HTML-fu to make an adaptive content display
You can use javascript to collect the variables and then create a function that will create a html page with the correct info. If you wanted to do a pdf or word doc, its going to take some additional technology (code) that will be on the server.

It might make more sense to use google docs for this and add the url as a web object into Storyline.
As in a GoogleForm? Good idea methinks.
Hi Simon, ya I was thinking a GoogleForm should work great for this.
Adam - if you want to use a Google form for this, here is an article that can get you started.
