Cool effect after drag and drop

May 27, 2020

Hi community, already got loads of ideas and inspiration for my e-learnings from this community.

My question to you: I would like to incorporate a cool interaction in my e-learning. After the drop is done correctly I want the statement to dissappear in a circle as was it swallowed by the circle. When dropped correctly it should move on to the next question, and so on until the last question.

Anybody an idea on how I could build this slide?

Hi Nellie,

In the attached version of your slide I have added an exit animation for each of your answers that causes the text boxes to "spin and shrink" when they exit. I have also adjusted the trigger to change the state of each text box to Hidden when it is dropped on the appropriate Step circle. As this is when the text box exits, the animation will take place over the centre of the circle, giving the impression that the text is disappearing into the circle.

I have also set the Drag and Drop options to return the text boxes to their start point if not dropped on a correct target and to snap them to the centre when dropped.

One thing I would suggest, as you are using long lines of text, is to place the targets up the side of the slide. The reason for this is that it is currently possible to appear to be dropping the text box onto the wrong target and yet still get a correct answer, as the text box can overlap all three targets at the same time. Placing the targets one above the other would prevent this happening.

Hope this helps.
