Copyright on google images

Aug 07, 2014

Hi all,

I remember reading somewhere about copyright on images found on google - even if used internally within my company on presentations, e-learn modules etc.

Does anyone know the technicality with using such images for the purpose of internal training mediums?

Using images found by a search engine is a very very dangerous topic.

You should speak to legal and clarify the details. By the way - even if you use an image which has a cc-license - attention: every cc-license could have different sub-rules.

By the way: Showing sth. internal in a company could also mean that you use an image for profit-purposes. So be very, very careful with that topic and ask an expert!
