I am working on a course in Articulate Storyline 2, and I am having an issue with the 'Matching Drop-down' questions. When taking the published version of the course on my LMS, I noticed that the answers are already correctly selected to their corresponding match. Kind of defeats the purpose of the quiz, if they correct answers are already in place.
A matching drop down are shuffled by default, but you'll only see that on preview or publish. If you're looking at slide or form view you'll see the layout with the correct answers matched up. If you're still struggling with this slide and it's not working in Preview/publish we'll want to take a look at your .story file. You can share those with our Support Engineers here using our case submission form.
The same thing is happening in the published version - the responses do not shuffle. I didn't notice this until I put 'A., B., C., D.' in front of the answer options. One of our students called out that the answer for every question was always 'A, B, C, D'. I am not able to share a .Story file. Hopefully someone else with the same issue could share?

Are you able to share it privately? That upload link will go to our Support Engineers who can sign an NDA if needed. If not, can you share a bit more about your Storyline version and update you're using? You can check that by going to the Help tab -> About Articulate Storyline and you'll see the information there. Also the specific type and way you've set up this question?

Have you checked that the answers are set to 'shuffle' in form view?
I tried to do so, but the option to 'shuffle' responses it greyed out.
The same for me, the shuffle answers is greyed out and the correct answers are already lined up.
