Is it possible to create an effect when hovering over an object (picture) so that it zooms a little in and back out. The frame stays the same size but the picture zooms.
I'd like to build exactly what happens on this site: https://nos.nl/ when hovering over the pictures/news items.
(how) would that be possible in Articultate storyline?
Interesting idea. I would probably use the built-in hover state for something like this. There is a little nuance here to consider. After editing the picture to be larger on the hover state and positioned correctly, you will need to Cut it and paste it back in the hover state (and send it to back if you have words, etc.) Here is sample - https://360.articulate.com/review/content/b621245e-f309-45b6-990b-171d2c31aa95/review
Still struggling with the 'hardness' of the effect as it gets kind off in your face for the lack of smooth transmission. Tried some animation effects but they start over instead of expanding on what exists. But a again.. thanks. Big step for my projects.
Totally agree - one option would be to copy and paste the graphic onto the hover state as opposed to cutting it. Then you can add entrance and exit animation more fluidly. It is not perfect but should be close. I have updated that link to represent this change - https://360.articulate.com/review/content/b621245e-f309-45b6-990b-171d2c31aa95/review
Thanks again, had the same idea (with a shorter fade time). After some playing around with the the right amount of resize as well i think i'll get there!
