I'd like to create a practice activity for an ecourse I'm working on about fire safety. I'd like it to be timed and thought it might be cool to have the slide change hue to a low opacity orange/red as time goes by. Once the orange/red hits a level time is up.
I'm new to this and most of my previous courses have been linear with basic quizzes. How could I go about making this effect? I was thinking like a trigger/animation with a path moving from bottom to top.....
Hi, Robert: This could be tricky if you are using built in quiz functionality in Storyline. The questions take place on different slides, so it might be more difficult to show a time-based progression. But, if this is more or a learning activity that happens on one slide (having layers is fine), then Cheryl's idea might work really well.
You could have a background shape, say semi-transparent, and then have slightly different states for that slide. You could also just have a number of different backgrounds fading in, too.
If you end up building this, please share! Thanks.

What about using States for the different colours? Then add a slide trigger Change State to ... when Timeline reaches ...

Thanks for the suggestions. When I finally get it all worked out I'll post.
