Customisable Character Animation Help
Sep 16, 2019
Hi all,
I seem to have hit a bit of a wall with a project I am working on, and am hoping that one of you heroes can help.
I'm in the process of building a storyline e-learning course, and one portion of the course involves teaching learners how to do specific actions. I'm hoping to create a simple animation to show some of these movements, however, I cannot seem to find a software that allows me to do this.
The actions that need to be shown are will need to be shown in detail. For example, if I were to show putting on a shoe it would involve first lifting the leg, taking off the shoe, taking out the foot and so on.
I have tried using Vyond, and while it is perfect in terms of style, the movements I need to show are not part of their collection.
Can anyone think of an accessible way to overcome this, ideally without any incredibly complex or expensive programmes?
Thanks in advance!

Are the actions difficult to film? If not, use videos instead of animations. Modern phones provide more than enough quality, especially if you pay attention to lighting and keeping the phone steady.
This program might help; https://www.animatron.com/studio
It is similar to Vyond, with more possibilities to customize.
I think this may be the way to do it Judy, the actions aren't too complex, so I will try this. Thanks so much for your help!
That programme is very good Ridvan, but unfortunately, it doesn't have the actions I need this time. I'll be saving it for future projects though, so thank you for the recommendation!
