I am trying to compile an articulate project plan, where the individual enters in today's date and then the articulate would generate when she/he should complete a project timeline that she/he should complete task a, task b, task c...
I was wondering if anybody knows if I can insert a date box on the first slide of a presentation and then have the person click through, selecting a few options, which would generate 'project dates' for each of the tasks.
I'm not sure if this is possible, but I'd love your feedback!
This isn't anything I've ever done, but it looks like you can use JavaScript to change the value of a Storyline variable to a date. There's some more information on how to do that on this page.
I'm not a JavaScript expert, so I can't give you any guidance beyond that. If you have other questions, hopefully someone in the community can help out!

This isn't anything I've ever done, but it looks like you can use JavaScript to change the value of a Storyline variable to a date. There's some more information on how to do that on this page.
