I am an Instructional Designer working on a new project to design a highly technical e-learning course for pilots, covering mechanical/aeronautical engineering elements. Any ideas/suggestions/previous examples of how such a topic can be dealt with in an interesting and interactive way? Any ideas for scenarios will be greatly appreciated.
Hi Atika- I created a course for a hardware company that showed the inner working of the logic board and had my learners drag the appropriate cables to their locations.
This provided real world job site context and the interactivity is better then listening to VO.
Create 3 IT professionals (your actors) and take the learner thru their lives on the job.

Thanks for your ideas Ryan! I've added a pilot character introducing the otherwise dry material. Let's hope it all goes according to plan.
This sounds like a great project to work on, good luck!
Voice over talent is key, find a DJ radio talent thats still sounds Pro. You'll do great!
