If the answers to this slide are incorrect, and the user tries again, the slide doesn't reset. I have tried changing to revisit slide in the initial state as well as changing the trigger on the try again later. nothing seems to work. I only want the user to have two attempts.
You'll need to add an attempts number variable and then on the try again layer
- set triggers:
Adjust variable (attempt) add value 1 when user clicks try again trigger to jump to the slide (with the property set to reset to initial state as you have done)

The items will not reset automatically, You can set a trigger "jump to this slide" to the try again button, then the items will reset.
Thanks, I have tried that, but then the user can have more than 2 attempts...
Then you can use 2 slides(same content), first slide 2 attempts, second slide 1 attempt.
When the user need to try again, they jump to slide 2.
A bit complicated but that's what I did in my project.
