Dynamic Menu in Storyline Player

Hi, I'm new to course creation so apologies in advance if this has been answered elsewhere.
I've developed a course that contains two versions of 6 & 8 modules within the same course structure. I set variables on the opening page to determine what version a leaner is presented with.
Is there anyway to customise the menu in the player, dynamically using logic/variables or is each menu fixed, based on how it is edited to begin with?

Hi Mark. To clarify, are you asking if it's possible to dynamically customize the built-in course player menu?
Hi Trina, thanks for responding.
I've a course that consists of either 6 or 8 modules depending on a variable that I set at the course startup. What I'd really like to happen is that the player menu shows the additional two modules if the 8 module option is set.

Mark
Hi Mark. While you can do some customization of our built-in course player menu, unfortunately there isn't a way to dynamically customize the menu or player elements based on triggers. Given what you've described, I'd recommend creating a custom menu that adjusts based on the variable triggering the view of either 6 or 8 modules.
To get you started, here are a few previous discussion threads (some with example files) that cover some of the "how-to" aspects of creating a custom menu in Storyline.
Hopefully a few more folks will chime in with their ideas or examples as well.
