Editing States question

Hello everyone,

I am a new user to Storyline 3 and I was wondering if there was a way to edit the state of two items at once.

For example, I currently edited a circle so that it can 'hover' and be 'visited' BUT I have the number 1 inside the circle that will not hover/be visited at the same time as the circle. They both can hover/be visited but only when I move the mouse to the specific shape or textbox with the number. So it doesn't look nice at all and I would like to be able to hover/click either or without it looking different (like normal buttons with a text on it).

Any advice and help is very much appreciated.
