eLearning professional development

Greetings all,

Though my educational background lies in visual communications, marketing, advertising as well as a masters in educational technology; I have only been an Instructional Media Developer for just shy of a year now. I was curious if any of you could provide me some leads on professional development opportunities, certificates or degrees worth researching, or even organizations to join. I know ASTD is a big one and I'm getting ready to become a member there, but I wanted to see if any of you have have some recommendations as well.
