I happened to see this post and thought folks in the UK/London might be interested (I have no idea if that's something useful or just a 'marketing thing'). See the link here.
I've had a look and am not entirely clear on the purpose of the event. It seems to want to recruit freelancers 'into the cohort.' So I suppose signing up to be part of the crowd-sourcing platform that was created.
I'd personally prefer something nearer Bristol but that's just my location.
