EXIT for credit

I have had several recipients of my training packages developed in Articulate NOT be able to use the EXIT button at the end of the program. They click it and nothing happens. After which if they exit the browser to close the program they do not get credit for completion. I have been told this could be an individual computer setting but not what setting or how to correct it. Can anyone help?

Thanks Tim - and my apologies. I am delivering the trainig through an LMS; for some everything works properly and credit is given (via the LMS) when the program is completed and others have the problem (the EXIT button NOT closing). Still led to believe it is some setting on individual computers. My problem is my clients are from multiple organizations and each has their own IT.
