Hi. I have a course with 4 quizzes, all of which add up to the total pass mark for the entire course.
I'd like to be able to get the users to take the quiz again that they failed (if they passed the first, failed the second but passed the last two) but can't figure out how to calculate which quiz they failed. Can somebody point me towards any existing tutorial by any chance?
Does each quiz have it's own result slide then those 4 result sides combine into the final slide?
If so, on the final slide, you could have the variable references for the score/pass points for each quiz with a retry button that links back to the failed quiz to attempt again.
Hard to say without seeing your setup but that might give you an idea
They don't have separate results slides, as all the quizzes add up to the pass/fail of the course. I was thinking that the variables pass.percentage or pass.points/score percentage or score.points could be used in some way, but not sure how to calculate that!
I think Wendy is on the right track. Without separate results slides for each quiz that roll up into a master results slide, I don't see how you could manage to determine which quiz was failed.
You could use some tracking variables that would control a "heat map" (red, yellow, green) for each quiz and customize your results slide to reflect this.
